Can some one tell me what the difference between the Quad and quad plus apart from the Gb Ethernet?
Cheers
GBQuad:
Fast processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM
2" color display
3 x USB (1 front + 2 back)
1 x HDMI, 1 x e-SATA
2 x PnP tuner (DVB-C2/T2/S2)
optical, RS-232
ethernet (RJ-45/100Mbps)
2 card reader
GBQuad+:
new design (available in black and white edition)
Fast processor with 1GB DDR3 RAM
large color TFT display
3 x USB (1 front + 2 back)
1 x HDMI, 1 x e-SATA
2 x PnP tuner (DVB-C2/T2/S2)
optical, RS-232
ethernet (RJ-45/1000Mbps)
2 card reader
So, slight design change, slightly larger display & GB ethernet.
Just to add, judging by some reports the original Quad runs quite hot. I have a Quad Plus and have never got it over 46C reported on the info screen, even with three tuners in use and recording on the internal HDD.
