Re Dreamplex with no server

i want to use Dreamplex on my Technomate tm2 but i dont have a plex server i only share a libary froma friend,is there any way of setting this up to work without a server and just a sharing or do i need to run a server (computer) in teh house with plex server on

The plugin is a client only, so you fill it in with your login details for plex and it will automatically bring across all the servers you have access to.

Need to change the connection type to myplex.com
