audio makes load bang on AC3 sound

Hi guys,
Have been meaning to ask this several times.
My Onkyo 906 makes a loud bang when I am watching sky on my vu uno.
The happens on all vix images over the last few years.
If I turn on downmix it solves the problem of the load bang.
Does anybody know what causes this?
Is it an issue with the onkyo or the vu uno.

Strange eh. I've never experienced that m8 and by the replies not many others have either. Hope u get it sorted
