Ferguson v spiderbox

Hi Guys

Having fatally screwed up my Ferguson 102e (stupidly tried to do a full firmware/patch upgrade over older patch without doing a factory reset) I am now looking to a Spiderbox HD6000 which I would of course (like the Ferguson) buy through here.

I already have the excellent Octagon XP1000 so am just looking for a cheap box for the bedroom.

Having read a fair bit on here about the Spiderbox it seems very versatile so perhaps some of you can tell me what you think, Should I stick with Ferguson or go for the Spiderbox?

After using a linux box, doubt that you'd be happy with either of the models mention. Maybe look at the Miraclebox premium MINI HD, perfect the the bedroom.
