View Full Version : Timbo's channel databases for Skybox F5S

After having success posting my Skybox F5S channel databases on another popular forum I thought I would also do the honours here too and upload.

There are various regional variations of the main London database which should hopefully cover your local region, I decided to create regional versions as I had many requests for them.

Hope you find the database(s) useful. Note that they are zipped and will need unzipping before you copy the TP_PROG.dbs file from your computer on to the USB flash drive for uploading in to your Skybox F5S.

If you notice any channels that are not working or display the wrong channel from what it should be please let me know and I will do my best to correct the errors (as soon as I have time).

One final thing that the databases are in the original channel numbers for SLY and although HD are still there in the correct place I doubt whether you will be able to watch them due to the recent blocking by SLY.

Not putting a downer on anything, but I thought this forum was for vix STB's. Not a skybox F5s......... Which is not even linux

There are many sections on this forum for none linux receivers and a lot of receivers that the sponsor does not stock or sell, our only condition is that we do not provide any support what so ever for Illegal, counterfeit clones, all other receivers and images are welcome.

Plus are we not entitled to our opinion?
Secondly there are many websites for the skybox's openbox's etc. Should this not be kept on topic of openvix....

I mean yesterday there was someone trying to sell a cardshare line on here.. What next

Far from it, we value all genuine input, those who post in order to intimidate, haras or otherwise insult others are not welcome.

This forum was here long before the ViX image existed, we do not discriminate against any user regardless of the receiver or image they choose to use, with exception to users of illegal, counterfeit receivers.

That person was banned the instant a member of staff was made aware and his posts dumped as has always been our policy. There is also a report button where users can report suspicious posts for a member of staff to look into.

Kris, sorry but I'm no longer making databases for F5S's since my last version in 2014 for the reason being I don't have spare time to keep updating it and also that I have upgraded my own box from an F5 to a Linux box which has Autobouquet Maker.

Ok timbo thanks for getting back to me. I didnt realise it would be something that needed constant updating. I have also upgraded but still have the F5s up stairs for when the wife gets sick of the soccer and sends me packing fmo the main tv lol
