Nobody can help without a log and any other info such as installed plugins

scouse645

Thanks, this is happening on most plugins, tsmedia, the football info, 1 channel, etc, i just don't know how to put the crash log info on here, just thought others may have had the problem so it would be known about.

scouse645

Thanks for your reply, i have done what you suggested and there is no problems, i did that last night, does that mean i should steer clear of streaming plugins? or should i try to put those on again?

scouse645
17-07-14, 15:54
i am doing just that, well i'm trying:confused: it does it quite a lot recently, i know when it's going to happen as you press the green button and nothing happens, then it crashes. was waiting for someone to say well don't press the green button then:nono: it has done the same on other buttons.

Install the image from scratch with NO backups restored, just add your can and use it like that for a few hrs (maybe upto 24 hrs), then start adding in your usual plugins one at a time.

scouse645

Can you post your logs with a fresh flash, listing what plugins you have installed.

Common denominator seems to be the Isettings plugin.

Please try without the plugin and see how you get on without it. You can manually download his chanenl lists from

vhannibal.net Click on "Per iniziare il download" in bottom right corner after selectingteh channel list you want. You can then send by Dreamboxedit/Dreamset to receiver.

scouse645
19-07-14, 19:49
Thanks for your reply, is the Isettings the vhannibal auto settings plugin?

Flash receiver from beginning would be most certain way of doing it. This would rule out bit of code being left over etc.

Can you give a step by step way to reproduce this issue.

You also state that you have not installed plugins, your logs show a plugin that is connecting to the net. Are you using a backup image?

Please download an install an image from openvix.co.uk.

Is that a film? never heard of it, should i do a flash with the new image Apollo 022? i have not seen any other solo2 users report anything recently, i thought there maybe something you can see in the logs, don't understand them myself:confused:

That was from your one of your logs in post 28, there are two. You may have uploaded an old one and I did not read the date properly. <crashdate>Wed Jul 16 23:45:48 2014</crashdate>

Maybe chuck in a router that must be faulty, seems much better with another router, lucky i had one, seems odd though that a few other solo2 users had a similar problem. apologies if i have messed anyone around, never thought it could be the router, if it is that?

@Rob, I got it to crash. To reproduce, remove ethernet cable and then try and download a plugin. This happened on an LX3, so not specific to Solo2.

Yep, you're right. So we have a crash on trying to download plugins while there is no internet connection.
Now we can make a confirmed bugreport for this.

BTW: This also explains the differences when using a different router/modem.

Achieved by removing the network cable. Bug report will be generated, Andy will have a look when he can.

Got to the router of the problem. Thanks for reporting.

I did not like and deleted.
And yesterday can no longer connect to the network, although wifi confirmed all green.
