my first question is - am looking for a second cheap sat receiver, dont need to be fancy, but must have a epg (cross epg), no need for hard drive just one tuner, just to view channels, if possible something that can play tsmedia. also something very easy to setup/flash

yes pretty much all real E2 boxes (not the cheap Alien branded ones there rubbish or the Dreambox models) flash via a USB stick.
£130 you have a good choice of boxes including

Just to name three, and dont forget if you do buy from the forums sponsor you can ask him for a £5 voucher off the price of the receiver.
your a star mate. which one would you get? cheers
I have the Technomate my self which works well but TM can be hit and miss at times with driver related issues, although they seem to have been resolved for the time being. I dont have any experience of any of the others, but I am hearing good things about the Miraclebox receivers which are based on the Ventons.
Dont take my word for it, see what other feed back you get from forum members before you pull the trigger and buy one.
