Receiver freezes

Had a few random freeze ups where all i see is vix logo spinning in top left corner and cant do anything but switch receiver box off and on , is this a common problem ?

You will need to provide logs to solve your problem. Also do not power off your receiver like that - you will most likely cause permanent damage at some stage. If the receiver locks up use telnet to connect to the box and shutdown enigma2 using the init 4 command and then restart enigma with the init 3 command.

i had same issue with my vu solo2 when first flashed, had to reflash again, making sure you back up you image etc.
