Yes i know where to do it, but HOW shall the setting be to GET the DD, my onkyo TX-608 does not recognise as DD.
So it must be some of the setting in Duo that spokes.

i have notices some changels dont give DD thats because they dont broadcast best thing for that is a toslink and upscale it on a amp
If i use a OPTICAL cable to my ONKYO i get from my LCD DD from thoes channels that broadcasting in DD 5.1 sound, but same channels from DUO output nothing just PCM?
In the setting A/V HDMI should be setting one for VIDEO a nother for SOUND and there get them option HDMI, or least have one option for sound with HDMI or OPTICAL output.
Is it the same for all the Images, strange is that all HD channels i get DD.
Also running PLi and have no problems with DD on my Onkyo 607.
Never noticed the problems you seem to have.
Also from Sweden so we should have the same channels.
If you like I can check my settings and post them here to make sure we have the same settings.
Yes please,
I get DD from STV1, NOT SVT2, and nothing from TV1000, TV1000 ACTION and TV1000 Classic as from the infobar they all sending in DD
But i get DD from my Cabel network
Ok, I hade the same problem as you but I did manage to find the setting that make it all happen :D
The following instructions are a mix between swedish and english since I didnīt feel like setting the langugae to english in the menus :)
Follow me and change the setting from YES to No and you should be good to go.
Menu - Installation - System - Auto Language Selection - Prefer Audio Stream Stored By Service - Change from YES (Default) to No and it worked for me.
Adding a pic for a better overlook of my settings in this menu.
