Editing xml file to allow swap on SD scan

Hi With all the black channels i have decided just to go for the Sky SD west scan. This is great as now all the working channels are in the favourable positions.

however i would like to know if i can edit the provider xml file so that i can swap BBC1, BBC2 , STV and C4 to the HD variants.

I have previously been running the SKY scotland west HD and editing the xml files to swap out the black channels out ( thanks to Judge for providing) but the list of them is ever growing.


so if i could id rather run SD scan and swap the four main freeview hd channels. Any ideas how i could do this

You can edit the XML provider file to allow HD swaps when scanning SD regions.

Post 58 of that thread does not have the Scottish SD regions so would not work.

The following lines need to be added in the filter section above the swaps. Number swaps also need to be added to.
