Vu Duo Streaming question

Im streaming from my Vu over the net, (via VLC) but it is a pain having to do a remote desktop connection to my PC to paste the new channel Url into VLC every time I change channel.

Is there a URL for what ever channel the box is on or any way to do this?

there is not a actual database. why i'm not sure but it could be because it depends on each individual home and the setup of ip they have. at the moment you will have to persevere but the remote desktop i dont understand a channel url can esily be achived by just webinterfacing to the box from the currently used pc that you are streaming on

I am streaming my box to a local pc then transcoding & restreaming it with vlc into a h264 800kbs stream so that I can watch it on my iPhone & work pc. But the URL from the web interface is specific to the channel so once I change channel I need to copy the new channels URL into vlc on my home pc and restart the stream. The only way to do this from work etc is with remote desktop.
