Just upgraded from 03 to 08 on my vu + duo. Working very well and I forgot how quick it is to reflash with backup settings.

So did the apollo 3 image actually make the remote less responsive?

I think I may have spoken to soon, the last couple of days have been dreadful again, I can't work out if it's the image or perhaps the skin? ?one other problem I have is the voice sync is out when watching all channels.

Well, that would be easy to find out: use the ViX-HD skin.

my solo2 & LX3 Remotes are working perfect using the default Vix Night HD Skin on Apollo 8, as a mater of fact I am really getting to like the LX3 Remote now that I have gotten used to it
so Sicilian was right :D

I've gone back to VIX HD Night after trying Red for a few days, still loads of screens need work because content isn't viewable, and the lists in the menus and main bouquet screen need to be bigger, both font and lines.

Not many people use the telnet command to upgrade.

Have followed the natural progression from vix608, to Zeus, to Apollo. So am currently on apollo 008 and changing channels is a slow process as I regularly get spinning fix. If I check menu info,memory it all looks good
