I recommend ViX Apollo image along with setting up ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker) and setting up CrossEPG and whatever cam plugin you use.
ABM provides you with the channel listings and CrossEPG does your 7 day guide.
is vix and openvix and vix apollo images all the same, thanks

Also to add to what I said I highly recommend setting up a swapfile too. We will help you all we can on any issues you come across etc.
The technical definition of a swap file is a file on a hard disk used to provide space for programs which have been transferred from the processor's memory. This basically allows you to assign a portion of you'r HDD or a USB device to use in place of physical RAM on the receiver, this can be useful for lower powered receivers such as the Vu+ Duo which has a relatively low amount of RAM.
can this swap file be use on any image,it just i am having a lot of crashing on my vu duo and was thinking of trying another image to see if would help, thanks

What image are you on now and do you use a swapfile at present?

I would suggest using the plugin "cache flush" also for the vu duo receiver.
