I recommend ViX Apollo image along with setting up ABM (AutoBouquetsMaker) and setting up CrossEPG and whatever cam plugin you use.
ABM provides you with the channel listings and CrossEPG does your 7 day guide.

what is a swapfile

The technical definition of a swap file is a file on a hard disk used to provide space for programs which have been transferred from the processor's memory. This basically allows you to assign a portion of you'r HDD or a USB device to use in place of physical RAM on the receiver, this can be useful for lower powered receivers such as the Vu+ Duo which has a relatively low amount of RAM.

What image are you on now and do you use a swapfile at present?

I would suggest using the plugin "cache flush" also for the vu duo receiver.
