Update - 004 to 006

Hi all,

I was running Apollo 004 and attempted to upgrade to 006 via online. My Solo2 box appears to have upgraded, but under information it shows build 004 and when I check online it says nothing to upgrade. Have I successfully upgraded?

It baffles me why peeps are updating unstable builds

I am running a vu+duo and havent even been able to update from 003 yet online............I can see another request coming out for the name for a new image

Can we all accept that Apollo has been a disaster and just go straight to Phoenix?

Not all builds buddy. It you press menu, setup, system, software update settings. Your settings for 'Allow unstable updates' will be set to Yes, thus meaning you can download unstable versions. Mine is set to no and am still on build 3. I've read on here they are having issues with later builds. When settings is set to no at least we know when the green flashing light appears in our infobar we know its stable. :thumbsup:

build 003 is working fine here on my vu+ duo2.I only update when they become available in the downloadsection.

There are a few issues being tested. You will have to wait until 006 is public.

Not to sure about that mate. Do you have a swapfile setup? Do you use ABM n CrossEPG?

:trustme: 006 requires a reflash. Has nothing top do with user action, just the way it is.

No, what makes you think that?
We've had a few build issues recently, new builds are being tested & new ones need to be built & tested again.
A 007 or later buld should be available soon.

Thanks @judge, when i chk online update or plugins browser "feeds are down for maintenance" for almost a week now.

If you allow unstable updates, the plugin feeds should work again.
If you get a notification af a new build being avilable though, I wouldn't update that just yet.

Doubt we'll see a 007 release as a new PLI merge has been done since. A bit of testing required as some new PIP options are working on different boxes.
008+, hopefully released after 007 bug fixes...
