Just go to the network settings.

I've been using a TP-link TL-WN321G V2 (I also have a V1 that works too) wifi dongle since getting my VU+ DUO with no problems at all.
You MUST make sure that your dongle is compatible or it won't work (RT73 chipset)
There are loads of TP-link dongles on ebay UK cheap :)

Have you rebooted?

Yes several times maybe I have a duff one I have just reflashed will try again tomorrow it was inserted in the rear usb port using VIX 1.2

Test it in your PC to see if it's duff (not the beer :) ) I have mine in the rear USB slot (lower I think without looking)

Hi there, did you ever get this sorted?

I am having the same issue. I have a Trendnet TEW-424UB dongle and my Vu+Duo just won't recognise that it's plugged in. I have tried rebooting also.

I seen in another post that this dongle should be supported.. The dongle is working fine cos I had it working in my pc!

Any ideas?

Same here just put it in last night in the lower back USB slot and worked on my laptop but no way the VIX 1.3 recogniseses it been through the network wizard and still no go. I have a TP-WN321G Wireles USB Adapter. Any suggestions please from anyone whose works?

Hi jd58,

I aborted trying to get the Trendnet dongle working as the Vu+ just wouldn't recognise it.

I updated my image to VIX 1.3 and luckily I had a belkin f5d7050 v3001 dongle in the drawer and it's working great. As soon as I plugged it in the belkin dongle lit up where as the trendnet did not.

Look at this post, it's good in that it lists dongles that work although it lists the Trendnet that wouldn't work for me!!
