Hello,

For a long time the Finnish (DVB-T/T2) terrestrial.xml has been out of date. So I updated it so that it can be used
anywhere in Finland (no need for city based separate sections), there is now "Suomi(fi)" section instead. Could this change be
integrated in future builds? Tested with Venton HD3 to be working, zipped file attached 35278.

Thanks in advance.

An short follow up on this. It seems that atleast the X-Trend 10000 and 8000 are not able to find the T2 bouquets with automatic search. It looks like an driver issue, as it finds only the T bouquets and does not try T2 at all with automatic search. With manual search it also locks to the T2 bouquets when using option DVB-T2 (and no DVB-T bouquets if that option is used) and vice versa.
The updated terrestrial.xml (attached in this thread) is now included in the Apollo 008 build. Thanks for including it.

In my location in Finland both Scandinavian and Iceland DVB T/T2 tuner settings have scanned the T-channels alright, but the T2-channels must be scanned separately with System DVB-T2-setting. This worked fine before June 2014. My problem is, however, that my terrestial provider has obviously stopped sending the T2-channels from my nearest subsender as of June 2014. They admit some changes but give no reason or explanation for this peculiar act. I see no difference in using the Suomi-scanning.

Finally, I solved the problem. Since the sender power for T2-channels has been weakened, the antenna adjustment has to be done much more carefully to catch them. Now I found the footprint again by turning the antenna direction a few degrees. Also my terrestial providers has given more detailed information about what has been made with the senders. Now it works again!

Borrowing an older thread as the subject is the same
Attached an updated ] file. The updates are for UHF transponders to use auto constellation
(as automatic search did not work for UHF T2 channels with Apollo 77 build for some boxes)
and removed UHF frequencies above 790MHz as they are no longer in TV use in Finland.
Could someone update the GIT? Thanks in advance

Hello,

Changes to Finnish terrestrial frequencies. The frequencies above 700 MHz has been reallocated to wireless broadband.
http://www.digita.fi/in_english/media/frequency_changes_completed_700_mhz_band_reallocat ed_to_wireless_broadband_as_from_1_february.4541.n ews
So find attached updated terrestrial.xml with this change, removed all over 700 MHz frequencies.
