Remote not working after flashing Apollo 3

Help plesae:

Remote not working after flashing Apollo 3, cant get past 1st screen 'select video input'
Was working fine on Helios

Maybe a bad flash. Re-flash again. Also ensure you haven't changed your remote code.

Ensure your remote is set to mode 2.

I tried re-flashing but made no difference.
I the end I managed to log into the box via browser on PC then used the web remote to go through setup. Restored settings from backup and after box restarted remote just started working again. Strange!

If your remote control started working again after a settings restore then at some point you must have changed the code on both the remote and the receiver as it will have been restored by the backup.

NOPE, did nothing before update.

Remote working fine -> update to apollo 3 from Helios -> remote stopped working altogether -> controlled menu & did restore settings via OpenWebif -> hey presto remote working again.

May be a bug in Apollo 3??

NOPE.
As Phoenix says, the remote control code must have been changed at some stage.
