In what way are they not working, is the receiver throwing a message?

How have your your Solo2 tuners configured?

First of all are you trying to scan via a satellite dish (dvb-s/s2) or via a tv ariel (dvb-t), because you have posted this with the dvb-t tags ?.

What do you physically have connected to the receiver in terms of dish/lnbs. Describe for each tuner separately.

What is each tuner configured as in the tuner config section. Please answer separately for each tuner too.

Might be a good idea to read this PDF and start again....

go into the tuner setup page and make sure it's setup as

Simple
Single
28.2 east
NO.

then exit back out and tune to say BBC1 and try ABM again also how have you set ABM up ?.

Autobouquetsmaker, then start scan and then comes up with timeout for tuner lock

ABM = AutoBouquetsMaker It's built into the ViX Image by default. Although we are still trying to establish exactly what channels are not working.

Also make sure if you do not have a cable connected to tuner B you try disabling it and than trying thenscan

I'll try that now, where do you disable turner b?

You have stated that there is no satellite cable connected to tuner B.

Your response suggests that you have set up tuner A and B exactly the same.

What have you configured tuner B as?

so do you have a subscription card in the receiver so that you can receive these premium pay tv channels ?. Also be aware that sky are actively disabling HD channels so they can not work on any receiver but their own, rite now no sky branded HD movie channels will open outside of a sky uk branded receiver, along with a good deal other HD channels.

That's a bummer, well it's not saying timeout tuner lock nomore. But the channels not come on but prob down to what you just told me. I have a sky skin on my box. And only a few now and next show up, any suggestions? Thanks

Take it one step at a time, rite now the EPG is not important. we are trying to establish what your exact problem is first, so what channels are working and what are not ?, be aware that pay tv channels will not open like magic without a valid subscription card.

Set your ABM proviers as freesat only, run ABM again and then check that most of the free chanenls work.

Once it's done the scan press 780 or 503. Which channels come up?

Once you have confirmed the step above, your next stage is to do the following:

Hardware
1. Remove the satellite feed from tuner A.
2. Connect satellite feed to tuner B.

Software
3. Configure Tuner B as: simple,single,28.2
4. configure Tuner A as: loopthorugh to tuner B.

This will allow you to get more services while using a single satellite cable. This receiver will not allow you to use internal loop out from A to B, but allows B to A.
