iMac Airplay mirroring

hi folks

wondering if anyone has had any success in airplay from an iMac to the solo2 or any other sat box using the open airplay plugin i can see it from my iPad etc and when i install air parrot i can see the sat box but says airplay connection blocked

anyways to unlock this ?:confused:

I looked into this a while ago and the plugin (same with other airplay plugins) can't do mirroring. The protocol had been reverse engineered by some companies selling solutions for windows but source not shared. Perhaps this will change with the IOS 8 and OSX Yosemite release.

ah cool be good if it could as the prospect of using say popcorn-time to airplay to the solo2 would be sweet
