Not working on VU Duo Vix Apollo 040. Glitches badly.
Was advised that Black Hole is more compatible ...but I've no idea. Happy sticking with Vix.
I was also told that a Solo 2 will run it using Vix ...but again, I cant swear to that.

However it will need a server url and a username and a password.

I would suggest using the XBMC plugin which is basically the same thing, however one of the benefits that XBMC brings is that it allows users to add the streams as bouquet items which is very useful, however it's not been created for profit like the people running Ruya services are doing. (basically think CS but for streaming).

I'm guessing that this sort of streaming service which having existed in small numbers has moved forward at a pace once Astra turned large parts of Europe dark to 28.2E

I'm running a Duo2 and it's working for me,

My advice is to press the epg (info) button to check the error log and I'm guessing it will be a missing python module.

You can install all dependencies from the plugin. , Sometimes TSMedia can conflict with some of the addons.

IMHO steer clear of such IPTV subs. (I am referring to FTA Channels).
JoeNobody010101 on YouTube covers the subject very well.
