no configfile

Hi i am useing the vix 1.2 image downloaded ccam 214 trough blue button but when i try to switch on it says no config file found so i ftp one to ect but am still getting the same message i read that auto start will bypass this but dont know how to do that this is all new to me so please go easy:confused:

menu>setup>softcam>softcam setup.
do a full box restart afterwards

no joy still getting the same message can i ftp ccam 214 full to var or somewhere else .

is your dummy cfg file renamed like this CCcam.cfg it must be named that way including the capital letters

yes it is still no joy i think i get my spider box back out this is doing my head in

Is your CCcam.cfg in /etc ? In your 1st post you've called the folder 'ect'

once the file is in there do a restart of box aswell

no joy might change image or wait for new vix image to come out thanks to all who tried to help.
