is there any difference between freesat using abm and the bog stardard freesat?

i know it sounds a right daft question, but am sure i read somewhere that with abm you get more?

i may have read it wrong it mightve been when it is coupled with sky uk scan there is more channels.

The reason we say to select a local region for both freesat and sky is so that it will pull in all the available channels as it would not otherwise. ABM wont give you any more channels than a official freesat box if you only decide to run a freesat scan without a sky scan to accompany it.
