Has anyone heard of any plans for a faster bootloader in the foreseeable future for the DuoČ?

not heard of any plans my self. Vu+ only tend to release new bootloaders when necessary to fix existing issues etc.

What do you mean by a 'faster bootloader'? It does it's job fast enough ?

Overclocked.... similar to Octagon.

Nope. And I wouldn't expect that either; why would you want to do that?

Doubtful, as for the octagon being overclocked it's actually not, they underclocked it on purpose, this new bootloader just opens things up to allow it to run at it's true speed. To my knowledge no E2 manufacturer releases bootloaders to overclock any thing.

Too bad, I was thinking of overclocks similar to the Intel chip via motherboard software for faster boot up times.

Why ?
Am I missing something ?

For normal every day use, not really needed. For testing the receiver to its limits (as a hobbyist) , it would help.

Doesn't the Duo2 boot fast enough for you?

Like I said, it's fine for everyday use, but not when testing different images and plugins, skins consistently. Or when blind scanning on a daily basis and not wanting to spend time to edit and stream line the sat xml file for a faster scan.
