finishing with my VuSolo, which hardware for a DVB-C system on the VIX image?

hi guys,

sorry i wasnt sure where best to post this.

i want to make a educated choice for my next reciever. I already have 2 VUSolo`s and a DM800 (sat DVB-S2) but i want to purchase a new box to enable me to play with a cable tuner.

Apart from Dreambox and VU+, i am not sure what i should be looking at. I want to keep the budget reasonable (until i have completed testing) and also love the Vix image so these are my main requirements. Maybe a duel sat/cable tuner setup like i have seen in a GigaBlue but i have no experience of them.

can anyone give me some pointers on what is popular and what everyone is using?

The Uno, Ultimo and Duo2 can accomodate a cable tuner just fine but may be a bit pricy for your needs. The Gigablue 800 SE / UE ranges as well as the quads work well with a cable tuner also.

world of sat shop also suggested the miraclebox mini (2 tuners) cos there arnt any quads, so looks like i have a few choices
