Vu+ duo diseqc

I have a Vu+duo connected to a single cable in the house with a diseqc outside the house on 2 sat 28.2E and thor1.0(0.8)W . Can i record from one sat and watch the other sat at the same time? Can anyone help me please.Many thanks

if you only have the one dish and motor then no.

I have 2 sat dish one on sly and one on the thor 1.0 both connected to one cable via diseqc .

then yes it will be possible to watch one satellite while recording from another. providing you set things up properly.

well i dont have a VU receiver so i'm not exactly sure of the settings you need. don't worry though. i'm certain when some one who does know see's this thread you'll get the help you need.

as far as the setup goes then theoretically you cant on a single feed if you had 2 lnbs on a single dish one on 28.2 the other 0.8 and then setup 2 feeds one in tuner a one in tuner b then yes but as your current setting stands no you cannot

With only one feed you won't be able to record on one and watch on the other ,if your on 28e thats the only satellite the duo will see, you would be able to record and view on the one satellite as long as the channels are in the same tp.

No you can only watch and record channels at same transponders. You need one cable from dish sly to tuner A and one cable from dish 1w to tuner B
