sky wont update my card in thompson box

well i took my sky card out of my vu solo2 and put it back in its old thompson box and got the message
wrong card for settop box and after ringing them they say they wont pair it as its an old box and i have to get a new one. do i still get SD channels if paired to new box when i put it back in vu . i gather i wont get the HD ones.
Any info please

For now, but the general opinion is that $ly will eventually stop sd channels and make everybody have a new box.

The really strange thing is that the missing hd channels are still listed under entitlements but for a different caid...

well after i phoned again and spoke to a different person they said they would send signal
but i just keep getting up a new message saying call sky as we need to upgrade your system
and with more loss of HD channels today shame as i do love my vu

Me too, well I love my solo2, my duo2 has been away for repair over a week now...

I suspect that once paired with a new box you'll get SD channels for all but sports and movies. This is the way my Solo2 is at present
