No free tuner! non stop the tuner is busy

Hi guys recently my tuner A is being occupied and I cant use it. The rec sign is up on the front panel of the box. I am on the latest vix build helios. I am having to always restart enigma to free it up. There are no timers or recordings running. The only thing I have enabled is transcoding, but that kicks in when I use a device.Any ideas on what to do, getting frustrated with it. Thx

it sounds like some one has got control of your solo2 try disconnecting your internet

That's what I thought first but I have put a password and set authentication. Still happens

If you have ports open then passwords will be of little use, especially if you have a already compromised system. the best way would be a full reflash and setup from scratch, then go from there.

The telnet command

netstat
will tell you exactly who's connected.

Sounds like you're still transcoding and streaming to one of your devices. The Rec icon will flash when you stream, but should stop flashing when you stop streaming.

Correct; and 'netstat' will tell you who's connected (as it seems to be an intruder).
