Noob advice on vu+ duo2

Hi guys just after some advice pls, i currently have Skybox f5 which is ok. But im looking at upgrading my box and have seen the VU+ Duo 2, this box looks like the bee's knee'sbut i was just wondering would it be worth going from my skybox to this and spending all the extra ££? what will the vu+ do that my skybox doesnt etc and will it give me better picture etc. sorry if this sounds like a stupid question(s).

Amazing receiver but if you don't know what the differences are then loads of reading needs to be done. Also be aware that you won't be able to put your sly card in it and receive HD channels soon so if that's a big thing for you then don't spend the money. If you want multi satellite with a motorised setup then it's the best receiver money can buy but don't think it's plug and play cos it's not. It's a steep learning curve as I've found out. Worth every minute but lots to learn.
