VIX scans 28.4

on vix 1.1 i did a scan on 28.2e (my main sat) and worked fine

with 1.2 i do a scan and they all scan as 28.4e??? Now all my bouqets dont work?

How can i fix this? As i dont want to go through my bouqets and edit everything :mad:

You should be able to 'enable' the LNB for 28.4 in tuner setup.
I came across simular things before on 16°E (sometime some lists are 15.8°E so they don't work)

When i go into tuner setup its selected 28.2e and the next sat is 30e

Sounds like you satellites.xml is upset?

i noticed on mine up to vix 1.2 had two sats listed 28.2 astra and 28.5 eurobird but since vix 1.2 it is listed as eurobird/astra 28.2 only. this is creating a conflict with my uk bouquets also as several channels are on 28.5 and it uses my other tuner than for them whereas in other vix images i could select toneburst on one tuner for all uk channels thus leaving my second tuner free. is it possible that it could be rectified in sat.xml on vix 1.3 as i have changed it myself manually but on system restart it seems to remove my edited sat.xml.

which bouquet pack are you using and have you tried to generate a new satellites.xml file ?

yes it should - just a mistype in your xml file. change it and reboot and will be fine

yes sorry for the delay in replying. just do as chris said change the 284 to 282

sadly you cant. you need to go to the site, generate the file then ftp it back to the box

Looks like a clean flash has the wrong sat.xml

As already posted. just edit the xml file.
I used to have the problem with 16E, sometimes it was downloaded as 158.
Very annoying.

But easy to fix once you know where to look.
