Hello there,

I am having difficulty recording two channels at once. when recording is on other channels are dimmed and I can't watch it. I have a motorised dish too.


can someone guide me through it please.

How many feeds have you got connected to the box ?

Whats your tuner configuration ?

I'm assuming one feed which means you can only watch channels on the same transponder as you are recording , that's why they are greyed out

According to the settings you have two motors ('equal' is English for 'the same as'). Do you indeed have 2?

OK, then the setting is fine indeed.

I needed to make sure, as many people who have one motor still use the setting you use.

It should simply work. I can't think of any reason why it doesn't.

Hi,
the behavior is normal. When you have "only" 2 tuner and 2 recordings take place you can only watch channel which are on the 2 transponder you are recording and nothing else. This is not BH specific.

btw. to your question: If you want 2 recordings and watch a random other channel you need a 3rd tuner and a 3rd motor:-)

concerning BH. You get support if we can but hardly anybody here uses BH.

You're welcome here with questions about all images.
But as most users here will use ViX, chances are that answers will take some time.

So your setup is indeed wrong; tuner 2 should be set to 'loopthrough' or 'Second cable of motorized LNB'

Just to clarify, you have one motorised dish. The LNB has two ouputs as in picture?

If so the tuner with cable to motor should be set as USALS.
The tuner with cable to LNB should be set as "Second cable of motorised dish"

The golden rule is that the receiver must be configured to what the real life setup is.
