Via 3 808 to helios help

Want to upgrade to heliox from an old image,
Do I have to do a clean install, any bootloader change needed, any stable heliox or any recommendations

If you paid for airplayer do you have to pay again after every install or the same code works

No bootloaders to update. Just flash the latest version of the image from www.openvix.co.uk via a usb stick, then setup. You wont be able to use a settings backup from ViX 3.0 with Helios. Cant help with airpalyer as I dont use it.

Airplayer well accept your code with the new build/image. I have read of compatibility issues but as I have yet to install on Helios I cannot say for sure. I know the licence stays valid as I have flipped between a few images. As always though, do a full image back up of 3.808, just in case.
