Am I right in thinking the only real difference between solo se and solo2 is 1 pluggable tuner slot? Meaning you could have 2 sat connections OR just 1 cable/terrestrial tuner.

SE has no lcd display, single card slot and is much smaller.

Just out of interest: what do you use it for? I never seem to be using any display at all (OK, apart from the Ultimo: a huge progress bar is handy).

Sorry friend,

Have to agree with Rob here.

My receiver is 4 mtrs away from my viewing seat, therefore display is as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I often wonder why people want picons also.

The displays on my duo2 look amazing with picon, programme and time on LCD and the channel on VFD.

So you must be sitting next to the box then? At a range of say 3 meter I can't imagine anybody can read a single word.

Maybe 2.5m. VFD is on the edge of readability, LCD is clean, bright and very readable.
