View Full Version : [VU+ Solo2] Record list crash on symlinks

Hi.

I have a few NFS mounts from my NAS to my Solo2 receivers.

The shares are like this:
VUShare (as HDD, /media/hdd)
Movies (/media/net/Movies)
Movies2 (/media/net/Movies2)

On VUShare is the default /movies folder for records and so on. For easier navigation to the other shares I creaded symlinks to the other shares (like /media/hdd/movies/Movies -> /media/net/Movies). This always worked totally fine also with the latest Zeus release.

But since I installed Helios enigma2 crashes when I push the movie-Button (if the last location as on a symlink) or after I tried to open a symlink.

I would like to post the crashlog also but it seems that it does not save it on the HDD share?!

need logs to help.

Like I said: It does not create a crashlog on /media/hdd so I cannot provide one.

But its easy to reproduce. The target does not matter - a symlink to a local path also crashes enigma. But only if the symlink is created in /media/hdd/movie.

This happens on 2 solo2 installed from scratch with no settings restored.

A debug log, would help Andy,I would think. Also.

Nope, it's not. All fine here, I use those all the time.

Ah, ok. The default path is not the hdd for the logs. Got one now. Is that sufficient or should I activate the debug log?
(Log not needed, problem is solved by software update)

Will do for the moment, thanks.
What build are you on?

This is my second box with Helios 007. I just check for updates and will report if that fixes the problem already. Yesterdays update did not help for my first box.

Indeed: my guess is that this has been fixed in build 9 or 10.

Shame on me, the update fixed the issue.
So I have already donated £5 for your time and help.
