ust done a software update

just seen i have the flashing light that indicates that a software upgrade is ready, also seeing a post on the forum saying that 003 will be released soon.

i went a head and did a backup and then a software update, the box went through normal routine, but when starting up from the bootlogo screen is frozen, so i turned off the box, from the back, and same thing happened gain just froze on the bootloader image, twice. had to flash helios through usb and restore my setting.

just a bit worried if i update the software again, i'll have same problem.

There seems to be an issue with version 003 causing a boot loop. See the post from pheonix. You should revert to an earlier version until the problem is sorted.

as rob says you can wait for Build 004 or if you'r capable of using a FTP client you can manually copy the fixed file over and enjoy build 003 which includes lost of new ABM stuff including updated DVB-C scanning and some beta DVB-T scanning code too.
