View Full Version : DreamPlex
Hi All
Possible newbie question, I installed Dreamplex today to connect to my plex server on my VU+ Solo2.
I am really strugging to input the Username and password using the remote.
I assume that by hitting say number 2 multiple times i get different character. However, when i do this i just get the number 2 repeated multiple times.
I do however see a error at the bottom stating "You need CURL installed for this feature".
What is CURL and where do i get it from? Is this affecting me from inputting the characters?
Thanks

See if you have your network setup correctly u can auto scan plex to detect the server and save the details
That's what I done and it works fine
Could tell you the button tho

Think it's in the setup then you press one of the coloured buttons to setup
And auto detect the server
Works well
I use the plex app for my samsung smart tv tho as it's a little slow for my liking in the box as not a fully designed plex app just a port sadly

I can't see anything to install curl in dreamplex settings.
I basically want to connect via myplex so it requires a username and password.

In the remote settings on box select enable text.
Should not need to enable anything else to select numbers and letters.

Worked a treat. many many thanks for that
Which worked a treat as people searching for the future wont know;)
Ah apologies. It was enabling text on the remote settings.
Seems so simple, but easily missed especially for someone setting up this box from new.
