Bit confused

Hi, seeing as we are about to get a new image soon i always get confused if i need to use the backup manager or image manager to save all my settings, or both? i have read a few tutorials but i just want to be sure, thanks.

backup manager for settings and plugins.
image manager makes a full image backup that you can reflash the same as any other image.

You can only restore a backup if your using the latest zeus image otherwise a fresh flash without restore is required.

you will be able to restore a Zeus backup to Helios, but you are correct ViX 3.0 backups are not compatible with Zeus or Helios.
