nothing at all just watching tv. keeps happening randomly
Type "vix spinning" into the forum search bar and you will find lots of posts with some helpful answers.
i had similar issues some weeks ago and found something somewhere about telnetting a command, which worked for a small time, but had to update the box, which you have already done. trying using a back up image and see if it fixes, you can always update again to 023
sorry mate just noticed that you've not re-flashed.

just updated my channels using autobouq and seems fine now, always had issue on sky sports 1 where it happened within 20 seconds of tuning to it, will see how it goes now.
thanks

Have you timeshift enabled? if not, enable it for now.

got an error saying media/hdd/timeshift is not ext2,3,4 or NFS.
I use mount point to do recordings, works ok on vu duo no issues.

That is wrong format for timeshift, it needs to be in ext 4

Do you use/need timeshift at the moment, if not.....Don't run it. And monitor your system

As far as I'm aware you can't run it, unless your hdd or usb are of the correct format, so I would turn it off until then.

An HDD in NTFS format (as only recording/timeshift location) can give issues. Linux really needs Etx4.

same thing kept happening, gone back to version 18 which was fine, will see how it goes.

I give up on vix and the spinning issue happens on the older version 18 too although takes a while before I get the issue compared to newer versions.
I guess I will try other images now.
