Problem doing clean flash of 023 on Duo2

Using the Vix UI, I downloaded build 023, and pressed blue to do a clean restore.

About 10 seconds later I see it is stuck at this error

"Error remounting root"

Is it safe for me to power down and try to flash using usb instead?

yes and for future reference always use USB to make sure its a good clean flash

strangely the last twice that i updated zeus i got a similar error but when i pressed OK it updated without a problem i am on 23 at the moment

should i do a fresh clean update and then load my settings back in with Backup Manager

Yes tried pressing ok but it didn't go anywhere. I think best to wait for the next build as it will have the OpenSSL fix and requires a reflash. Probably 24.

thanks for that info finbarr i did not know that yours locked up as mine updated as soon as i pressed ok, and just noticed that you have a Duo2 mine is a Solo2 :)

The next build will require a reflash, but you can make a settings backup now of build 023 and restore that when you do reflash.

Thanks pheonix i was going to do that but was not sure if it was ok to,every thing seems to be working fine it was just that error message i got when i updated to 22 & 23

Trying to update to 23 from build 22 on my gigablue hd quad via software update on the box menu so I can backup settings before do a usb flash but every time the box reboots it's still on 22. Any ideas why?
