Ideal SNR rate

hey guys

While I was googling about SNR I found a very useful post on this forum relating to adjusting this, So got the ladder out and had a look at the dish and found that the numbers on the LNB werent ANYWHERE near the arrow so I made a couple of adjustments (had to go in and out to my satellite box) and ACTUALLY got 100% SNR couldnt believe it!! big difference from jumping between 50-70%.

So whoever posted the information regarding this you sir are a genius!!

Not sure what 'arrow' you mean, but I think you're talking about skew?
Skew must be adjusted to the location & satellite; there's no fixed value for that.

I think he means the arrow on the dish connection which points to the angle.
