Fan control no saving preferences

Hi guys question fan control never has worked properly on my vu duo with all your images openvix3 and zeus
It works flawless on pli 3 and 4

I save the setting fan always on it is fine but if I reboot the box does not work anymore

although in the setting it says on, to make work it again i have to toggle on off and on again then its fine only until next reboot

when I have to do the same thing

What a bummer in the summer here in spain.......if I forget it then box gets real hot and gets stuck......

are you talking about the built in Temperature & Fan control in vix & zeus as it works fine on my solo2 with Zeus 23 i know that their where problems in some early zeus updates but that was sorted

have you tried installing Fan control 2 (2.0+git5567) from the plugins section that might work better for you just a thought mate :thumbsup:

ok seems that you have to do things yourself
I reinstalled my pli4 backup copied fancontrol to desktop
Reinstalled openvix zeus backup ,deleted fancontrol copied pli4 fancontrol and now its working......:p

Not a bad idea at all to do some things yourself....
Can you please upload the PLi-fancontrol?

And there is no Fancontrol2 for the DUO as the DUO only has a basic on/off controller.

there is no difference in code between thiers and our apart from condig names, so something it is your doing / not doing.

I dont really know any python codes at alll
All I do is backup images usually for dm800
To cut a long story short all I know that with this one after reboot it saves the setting fan is still on
Question could it be pluginpy which on your is not there????
Anyway it works now so I am very happy with zeus
