Hi all,

I was just scrolling through my bouquets list (pushed the arrow up key to see channels) and was browsing through the channels list when the box suddenly froze and rebooted itself. It generated a crash log. Can someone please check this?

Also I have the same problem from last time, mgcamd does not start after a full reboot.

Thanks in advance!

Regards

Avi.

This is a segfault.
My advise is to activate a swap file.

Thanks Rob for the reply!
Just to let you know swap file was active (set to max). I've always had a swap file active however recently I have changed the location to a usb stick instead of the hdd. Could this error be because of that?

Not likely, but possible: HDD is faster then USB.
Maybe also use the cache flush plugin.

Thanks mate, I'll leave it for a couple of days and then if it happens again, then ill have to activate the plugin and change location of swap. Thanks again!

How much free space does the box have?

How much free space does the box have?

How do you check that?

Running a telnet command (the one Rob showed me) df -h shows me that flash has 64% used up, hdd has 53% used up and the usb has 7% used up. Everything else is set to 0%.

Yes, looks like a segfault issue again.
More info in this crashlog though, could be down to TimeShift.
Please try Helios when it's released as some TS code has been rewritten.

Thanks for looking at that judge! What I've done is activated the cache flush plugin. So we will see how it runs.
I will also flash Helios when it's out. Thanks again!
