HDD help

Hi all ok so I have a duo with a 500gb internal drive all set up fine and working. Running vix, I also have a toshiba 500gb USB powered drive with my movies on, so here the problem I can not get the box to pick up the drive, unless I inintiualize the drive, but this formats the drive! How do I set it up to just plug and play? All the movies are mp4 format

Which build of ViX are you using? also, what format is the HDD in?

It's a lot easier for you to check than have everyone guess...
You could try some drivers from the plugin feeds, but impossible to tell which so far.

33688 here the information I have. not sure which driver to download as I cant match the chipset to the driver info. my portable hdd is ntfs format. anyone know how to sort this?
