Vu solo 2 internal and external hard drive

Can i have an internal and external hard drive on the vu solo 2

also what format does the vu solo 2 store the recorded files as

EXT4 will be the format, instead of an EXT HDD why not a NAS?

:wave: i have a 1 TB internal drive that i have the Solo2 to record to as defalt /media/hdd/movie and i have a External 500gig Drive set as /media/hdd2 that i use just for backing up movies and TV Series to, so i turn it off when i do not need it
i think programs Record by default to the Internal hdd and will only Record to a External Drive if no internal drive is fitted as i could not select a External drive in Recording Settings with a Internal drive fitted, but i could be wrong and a more knowledgeable person will come a long and put me right as i have only had my Solo2 for just over 3 weeks but learning fast :D

You can record to what ever drive you like :) but best to use the INT HDD ;)
