which to scehdule first - CrossEPG or ABM?

Hi Guys

Quick question on best practise for this or what other people do to keep things up to date.

Which should be scheduled to download first in the early hours of the morning - CrossEPG then ABM or ABM then CrossEPG.?

AMB then CrossEPG, personally I have mine to update ABM once a week and CrossEPG daily.
If I notice a channel is missing then I can run ABM manually. You could set it daily too if you like :)

cool thanks. as im still learning can you explain why its best to do it that way round? just so i understanad whats going on etc.

Because ABM might find a channel you don't have ;)

You cannot add a channel to the EPG.

ABM creates/updates the data about channels, frequency etc.. It also does the same for the bouquets.

CrossEPG downloads the EPG (synopsis) data.

i have ABM set to update daily at 3-30 am and CrossEPG to update at 4 am every night saved to flash drive in the back USB and every thing works like a dream :)

Plz help I am using cross epg but now today all listing are 1hr behide I have tried looking for time clock but all are the right time could anyone help

But the other way around does also work: the EPG-data is 'kept hidden' until a matching service is available.
