Fan - do I need to set anything manually?

Hi

Working my way through the box as i get used to it and saw a few entries rgarding fan settings. Am I wrong to expect the box to do everything automatically? Do I need to set the fan on the menu at some point?

Any advice welcome.

Default settings are usually fine.
