View Full Version : [VU+ Duo] cant mount harddrive on vu duo
hi guys,
i am trying to record programs however a message comes up showing write error, disk full???
i pressed the blue button to go onto the mount manager and it shows this under hardrive:
size: unavailable
Device: /devsda1
mount: none
type: unavailable
every time i try to click either if these it shows the black screen and says system encountered problem and restarts.
when i try to initialise it fails.

We need debug logs.
hi how do i upload and show you them
Click on the Go Advanced button, just below the post area & add them as an attachment.
Have you TSPanel installed by the way?
yes i do have tspanel installed
yes i do have tspanel installed
Then that's your problem.
Only way to fix is to do a fresh flash.
hiya thank you for your help however, the thing is i have not setup this box, the guy i bought it from did via teamviewer.
would i lose my channels that i paid for and the plugins?
also i dont get a 7 day epg is this linked as i cant get the epg location to go onto hardrive instead it just stays at internal flash

Because of the tspanel you need to do a clean fresh install with no backup, also the latest ViX Zeus Image won't allow to restore from an old image backup anyhow.
Yes as you would be setting it all up from scratch & no help will be given here on channels that you 'paid' for.
could i try using a usb to record? if so how would i do this?

tspanel would eventually un mount your usb too as you would have to initialise it and would act like a hdd and un mount. Do you know how to reflash your vu+ duo with a new image?
You really are better off starting from scratch & setting the box up yourself.
Have a look at the flashing guides on http://openvix.co.uk
i would e willing to do this however the person i bought this from has not replied in 2 days, worried about me losing all my channels

Just read the how-to's about flashing and setting up a box.
And especially setting up services is no issue at all.

Anyway: if you don't want to flash, we can't help you any further.
