Stuttering video and audio

So ive had my box a few weeks now, but im getting some nasty stuttering. i can only say at the momment its a few channels as ive not tried many. But sky f1 hd is a real problem. Every few seconds it will stutter or stop or sometimes even replay somethign they have just said. At the moment as we speak im watching it live and recording it. Im viewing via my pc using webif.

on further examination, it seems that if im recording and viewing on the pc it stutters like crazy, but this is greatly reduced when the recording is cancelled. however it does still happen.
