View Full Version : [VU+ Solo] Built in Movie Player Crashes on launch.
Hi All,
Quick question. I was using Built in Movie Player and browsing a network mount. My box crashed and restarted.
Ever since, when I now run Movie Player the box crashes after attempting to open the "last Used" folder which seems to be corrupt.
Can anyone tell me where the "last used" folder and other Movie Player settings are stored so that I can edit this and prevent the crash?
I'd really rather not flash my box again.
Thanks in advance

There may be an issue. Someone reported a similar issue a few days ago.
Could you be so kind as to upload the crash logs. The default location is /home/root
Thanks.

Thanks for submitting the log. One of the coders will have a look when they get a chance.

Any update on this?
I can say that the problem only occurs when AUTOFS is being used. Even in Dream-Explorer so it's not related to media player.

Remind us again, which image build number are you using? Thanks.
Have a look at the file /etc/enigma2/settings, look for the lines
config.movielist.videodirs=['/media/hdd/movie/']
config.movielist.last_videodir=/media/sdc1/
The above are mine, edit them say both to /media/hdd/movie assuming you have a HDD and then try again.
Zeus build 023 fixed a similar problem. You could try loading 023 to see what happens.

There was some work to improve network mounts. Please upgrade to Helios.
