Vu+ solo 2 clones appearing

The internet seems to be awash with vu+ solo 2 boxes with same chips but manufactured in China

Question is are these clones as good as the original Korean counterparts at £50 cheaper

If not how do you tell the clones from the real things

Clones are never going to be as good as the original item, they often use inferior parts, have no warranty and no safety inspection prior to being shipped. Plus the constant cat amd mouse game of getting images to work on them. Personally I would not be able to sleep at night knowing a clone was under my roof especially if kids were sleeping in the same house, if for no other reason than their safety.

Must agree with Pheonix here. If transformer goes faulty and overheats etc the consequences could be dire. Wouldn't have any electrical equipment in the house that needs to be permanently switched on that was of inferior quality

That old adage "you get what you pay for" cheap crap, you will be lucky if it last twelve months never mind having to worry about if it will take the latest image.

Imho avoid.
